James
Sassano
Jim, his wife,
Melanie, and his four children live in Fairview Park, Ohio. Jim
was raised in South Euclid and is graduate of Benedictine High
School, Bowling Green State University and the
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is currently a partner at
Carlise, McNellie, Rini, Kramer & Ulrich, Co., LPA, in
Beachwood, specializing in real estate law. Jim and Mayor
Georgine Welo of South Euclid spearheaded reforms to the
Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas' foreclosure process,
where thousands of vacant and abandoned properties had
languished to the frustration of the community and cities. |

Georgine Welo
Georgine graduated with a Bachelors of Arts and Science from the
University of Akron.
After spending several yeas in the private sector working
for Keithley Instruments, she began her career in public service
in 1991 when she was elected to South Euclid City Council. From 1996-1998
she was appointed by
Cuyahoga County Democratic Chair Jimmy Dimora as the
Co-Executive of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party.
In 1998, she was appointed as Administrative Bailiff to
Judge Ann T. Mannen, in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common
Pleas.
Georgine Was
elected Mayor of the City of
South Euclid
in November, 2003. Georgine is married to Carter Welo,
Sr. they have three children, Nicole, Carter,
Jr. and Miles.

Dennis
Rehor
Dennis has been a member of
the Fairview Park Board of Education since January 2006 and
he is currently the vice president of the board. He and
his wife Tricia have six children, one who attends
Baldwin-Wallace College and five in the Fairview Park Public
Schools. He is an attorney and has served as an Assistant
Attorney General for the State of Ohio, as well as a Budget
Analyst for the Cleveland Planning Commission. He is a past
member of the Fairview Park Recreation Commission and Master
Plan Committee. He is one of the founders of The Gemini
Project, which is a $50 million dollar joint project between the
city and public schools of Fairview Park for school and
recreational facilities. He is a graduate of Cleveland St.
Ignatius High School, Baldwin-Wallace College, and
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. |

Tracie
Zamiska
Tracie recently completed a Masters of Urban Planning
from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Originally from Chagrin Falls, she is a graduate of Chagrin
Falls High School and earned a dual degree in Political Science
and Criminal Justice from Canisius College. Her
professional experiences are diverse, from politics to federal
housing initiatives to civil engineering and land use.
While living in Buffalo, New York, Tracie was a consultant for
the Good Neighbor's Planning Alliance. In this position
she served as facilitator and community liaison. She also
served as researcher, contributor and editor for the final 300
page neighborhood plan. The plan was adopted into the
Buffalo City Charter in the Spring of 2006. Tracie
currently lives in Cleveland Heights and works as a Planning
Consultant. |
